If I had nightmares about bridges, this one would be the scariest one of all. And no, I am not putting Tibetan Bridge (Claviere, Piedmont, Italy) on my bucket list.

This beautiful suspension bridge spans the river Danube and connects Buda (the old section) and Pest (new section) of the Hungarian capital. Chain Bridge construction began in 1839 and was finally completed in 1849. Its cast iron structure was updated and strengthen in 1914. The bridge was severely damaged in WWII during Siege of Budapest. It reopened in 1949 after rebuilding and further strengthening was completed.
